Like the new movies? Hate them? Whatever your answer, why is that your answer?
Also, how do you feel about their handing of the expanded universe thus far?

For the first look I didn't liked the Force Awakens and Last Jedi, but Rise of Skywalker was a dream coming true.
Before the Return of the Jedi was my favorite, because it showed us that it's never too late to choose the right way to live by. This was my biggest motivation to join a Jedi order, because I felt like I have to atone for something - I didn't know what for, just felt my entire being guilty. After that I fell in love with Kylo Ren's character, with all of his struggles on his way to the dark side. In TROS he has his redemption which was excepted for me, but to be honest, I didn't look at Kylo Ren as a good guy, he is still that character for me, that he was in the 2 previous films.
As I see, Disney is trying to bring something new, but they simply just doesn't know what they should do. They tried to bring a bit of ancient feeling to the Force Awakens with the mysticism around Snoke's identity, and the whole appearance of the things near him. Failed, I think. With Rogue One they had a totally new visual world around Scariff, and the effects of the firepower of the Death Star. I think those explosions were more spectacular than the explosion of the Alderaaan. Success? I think yes. The Last Jedi tried to bring more humor in the movie, but I think they shouldn't go this way. I don't remember anything about Solo, I was so bored under the movie, I never watched it again. The Rise of Skywalker showed us new Force abilities, and I think it was cool.
But I think there is two things they should have let go. First the planet destroying weapons. They always bring something new, but only for failure against the rebels/resistance. The other is the family relationships. I haven't seen much movies, but it's a recurrent thing that some of the characters is family related to the other. With Kylo Ren it was on purpose because it was important in his story to kill his father, and becoming one with the Force with his mother. But Rey being the granddaughter of Palpy is irrelevant.
Even though now I enjoy the movies, it could be greater if they used the Expanded Universe as canon. I've read 10-15 books - mostly form Timothy Zhan - and they were great - especially the Thrawn Trilogy.

Most times when I don't like a movie the first time I watch it, it eventually grows on me on repeated viewings. That's not the case with the sequel trilogies. They really should have consulted with George Lucas on the storyline. If not that, then at least use elements from the EU. They wouldn't have had to copy the story completely, but do something like what they did with the adaptation of Ready Player One. The movie was very different from the book, but the main elements stayed the same and both the book and movie were enjoyable.
On a side note, Rogue One is still my favorite Star Wars movie. Mostly because even though the good guys win, they all die at the end. Showing that not all victories are happy at the end. Sometimes sacrifices are necessary for the greater good.

I think the new stuff is cancer. Disney will pay for those in the long run. They never came up with anything original but now they are just buying and ruining everything. Its an empire, but not one of competence or vision. I will enjoy watching their fall.
