Thoughts about meditation

I just watched a vlogs about how to meditate. I don't know if I'm just too horny (because she is sooooooooooo beautiful(I even dreamt of her last night) ), or there was a meaning of the videos.... Just kiddin.
What I learnt:
1.) She said that we should start meditation like Praxus recommended. We just need to sit down, and let things happen. When we got rushing thoughts, we should focus on the moment we live in, and ask ourselves why this thought comes to our mind, until we got a proper answer. We have "silences" between our thoughts, and the more we answered these questions, the more silence will come to our meditation. But don't want to try to control them, if you have thought or silence, just feel it, and live in them.
2.) She said that you should listen to your mind all day. Be mindful of your thoughts during the day, and when you understand them, you will be able to go deeper in your meditation. Those thoughts that come into your mind during the meditation is a part of your life you have to work if you want to have a calmer life.
3.) The key is that you have to understand yoursef if you want to have a better life. (This was just one thing, but let me comment my thoughts following). I learnt much about how important to have a healthy self-esteem. If we don't learn to hear what comes into our mind, we can't achieve that. I will be honest, I know this, but I don't know what to do. Usually I meditated with working on energies, but now I will try it now.
I just watched 3 videos now, but it's night time for me now, but tomorrow I will collect some more information from them.
