For years now, I've been doing some work with lightsabers that I've bought off of various websites. I find ones that look rather bland or ordinary, and get to work on them. I paint, weather, glue, etc., until the saber looks entirely unique. This one I've had for a couple months now, purchased from Imperial Workshop: In my own personal opinion, it's rather ugly, which was intentional. It looks like it had the shit kicked out of it, and that's generally what I was going for. I titled it "Jedi in Hiding", or maybe more realistically I should call it "Sith in Hiding". Maybe, "Sith in Battle"? Who knows. The title doesn't matter so much. Anyway, though I'm not directly trying to break any rules involving commercialism, I'm trying to get rid of it. If you're at all interested, contact me.

Did you delete the pic? I put off getting one for years. At the end of last year I bought a matching pair for a steal. Not a fan of dual wield but one was a gift, other was for me. Will take a few pictures so you can see what it looks like... None on my PC though, or even my phone come to think of it. It's baselit, RGB... and naturally, I set the color to deep red. And I'll definitely show you mine if you show me yours... Will probably show mine off anyways tbh but now I'm curious.

I went to the beach in California before the andor premier and people loved it when I spun it. I want to try duel wielding yet have shoto blades so it can be like kali stick fighting.

my electrum saber took me a few years to buy one and I treated myself for my birthday. It's nice. Gold colored for some enlightenment, I think I choose green and blue backlights, it has cover tech knob. I chose each color based on certain attributes within myself so it was meaningful to have. So when I practice, spin, I feel like the weapon is an extension of myself. I will send picture of just the saber and had to dig around to find the pics. I chose very custom deep deep red. through my unity app I can change my color and have multiple sound fonts on the card. However you have to upgrade the card for each upgrade they do software wise. You just plug it in and download what they gib you. which is nice and that part is free, it took a few weeks however it wasn't that long. Totally worth the wait. Smart sabers are cool. there's a kill key. my touch turns it on and it's very sleek and elegant.

Smart sabers are cool. there's a kill key. my touch turns it on and it's very sleek and elegant. Nice. I'm a fan of the gold. Mine didn't have a covertech knob or any other extras, was super basic when I got it - came with a connector for the other hilt to make a double bladed saber like Maul or Exar Kun or Kas'im lol and I kept the adapter (it screws on in place of the pommel) but until or unless I get another saber, it's kinda useless. Aside from that was a charger, blade retention screws (+2 extra), hex key, blade itself (82 cm) and an instruction booklet, for each lightsaber. The one I gave away hasn't been modified or messed by the person who got it, far as I know, but I've made a few minor changes to mine. Ordered black thumb screws to replace the original blade retention screws since they needed a hex key to loosen or tighten, figured why not eliminate the need and add a little bit of subtle texture to the hilt. Then I got an extension / adapter with a covertech knob that screws on between grip and pommel. The covertech add-on also happened to perfectly match the pommel so, wouldn't know it's there without pulling the hilt apart, and it had an extra screw hole opposite the covertech wheel so I added a d-ring. The hilt seems like maybe it wouldn't swing around or slap against my leg as much with the covertech versus the alternative I didn't have a belt clip to go with it (and still don't) plus the d-ring kit was cheap. And I wanted the option since it was, lol seemingly, so easily available. Turned out the screw in the d-ring kit was a different size, too big, so I ordered JUST a screw from the same seller (Smuggler's Outpost) for like a buck and, without checking, figured it'd be the same size as the blade retention screws... it wasn't, m4 screws were too small. Finally got the right screw and threw a few charging port dust covers in with it. The port covers were frustrating too; was hard to find, then even when some finally turned up they weren't the right kind - kinda gave up on it for a while before seeing them when I was trying to work through the hiccups with getting the d-ring attached. Oh and it has a blade plug. Two, actually; I got a 7/8th inch plug by mistake from somewhere (prbly Saberbay) right after I got the lightsaber itself and they apparently also sell adapters to make them fit in hilts built for a 1 inch blade but I took a quick look at those and decided to make one instead, super easy to just do it myself for free. Looked alright but I still wanted one that was the right size so I got another. Both let the light shine through nicely when it's turned on. Not sure what kind of card I have, I'll probably leave in the one it came with for the foreseeable future tbh, I'm satisfied with the basic controls, colors, and sound fonts for now; pretty cool all the stuff you can do with different hardware though, especially for the neopixel lightsabers. Would be neat to be able to control the settings from an app, for sure; it does get a bit tedious using the one button, remembering how long to hold it down for this setting or that, and the button will probably wear out a lot faster because of it. I figure if or when I need to replace the button I can start to think about maybe upgrading the SD card, if only for a greater variety of sound fonts to choose from... oh yes share, I finally after 4 years bought myself a nice one from a electrum sabers. I don't have any pics with it lit up atm, or with me holding it, but I took this the other day: I'm still rearranging those shelves but, for the moment, it has it's own little spot.

Thank you for sharing with me, this is a beautiful saber. I love it and I love how you have all this other cool swag around it. This makes my day, I remember the whole having to learn how many seconds to hold button for my rgb saber yep. I wish my saber had an option for both app control and RGB option for when I don't have my phone on or something. I have to connect it via Bluetooth to phone then change the color yet I do love how I can customize my colors so that red can be super super duper deep. Cause red is best color, I can even have accent colors example: red saber with white outline around the blade. Anywho I loved reading about how you made changes to your saber. yesss bro upgrade it so you have more versatility. It takes time or resources but it's totally worth it in my opinion.

I haven't tried those, no, seems like they'd be fun to play around with though. Out of my price range atm too tbh but when or if I start to build more of a collection I wouldn't mind having one or two of these... Nice, simple designs. Saber spear caught my eye, and this looks pretty rad... Be awhile before I can even think about it though, money's tight af atm, even more so than when I white knuckled my way through December of last year and January of this year, but eventually maybe. Will have to keep these in mind.
